Premier Martial Arts Magnolia
Premier Martial Arts Magnolia is a karate school dedicated to providing the ultimate martial arts experience for kids, adults and families in The Woodlands/Magnolia area of Texas. It is our instructors’ mission to make sure that every time a student walks in the door they have an experience that is fun, exciting and educational. Students at PMA Magnolia will develop self-confidence and control through learning martial arts. Instructors reinforce traditional family values while teaching fitness, better health habits, self-confidence, discipline and respect for others.
Can I do karate? Is it for me?
Students at PMA Magnolia are comprised of a wide variety of age ranges and personalities from young firefighters and mothers of three to children of all ages. And they join for a variety of reasons, some to learn about self-defense, others to get in better shape, some have their sights on a black belt.
What is your philosophy ?
This studio (dojo) is considered to be a place of respect and discipline and is cared for by the students that train there; however, to Mr. Crouch, the founders and the instructors it is much more. PMA Magnolia is a place for family! It is a place where individuals and families come to not only learn self-defense, but also a place to be a part of a group of people who share a common interest. We desire to not only teach real self-defense and discipline, but also to celebrate with our students whether they are being promoted to a new belt, winning in a tournament, or simply celebrating their birthday.
We are very involved with the community! In addition, to providing a “Life Changing Experience” for their students, The studio loves to reach out to the community as well. This is done through demonstrations at local schools and community events, and hosting self-defense seminars.
What can Karate do for you?
“The great thing about what we do for our students is that we draw out what is already inside one of them,” Mr. Crouch said. “Parents, friends and family see changes in confidence levels and focus abilities as the student progresses. We take an interest in each student and help them individually to make sure they are having fun and working towards success.” Crouch continues, “Students of martial arts carry themselves differently, you can see the difference karate makes just in the way they look you in the eyes.”
